Star Track once known as ‘Discount Freight Express’ was purchased through a joint venture by Qantas and Australia Post on the 23rd of December 2003.
Later in 2012, Australia post acquired 100% of the business founded by Greg Poche in the Sydney Australia northern beach suburb of Dee Why in 1974.
Once Known as ‘Messenger Post Couriers’, Australia post as of May 2014 brands their express same day courier and next day / express parcel freight as Star Track Couriers and simply ‘Star Track’.
Delivery vehicles range from city push bikes and motorcycles, vans and 4 tonne pantech trucks right up to 20 tonne tautliners for bulk freight and semi trailers used for depot to depot freight shuttle.
