UPS logos - the first UPS logo was used from 1916-1937 and features a shield with eagle possibly the American bald eagle.
The next logo was used from 1937-1961 with shield and 'UPS' insignature and motto "the delivery system for vendors of quality", "since 1907",
The black and white parcel with tie ribbon and shield was used from 1961-2003.
The current logo was adopted from 2003 and has seen some minor 'tweaks' being implemented including color from gold to yellow along with it's very own uniquely designed font called 'ups sans'.
An interesting note and somewhat trivial fact is that the letters 'ups' have never been capatilized from inception till current day use.
Starting out as a bike messenger service more than 100 hundred years ago, UPS is now the Largest Transportation and Logistics Company in the World.

Drivers and delivery vans are easily identified with brown and gold vehicles, uniforms and signs.
